In Leslie Daniels’ new play-in-progress, READY FOR THE HA HA, we meet three former actors, now retirees, living together in the Home for Aging Actors (The H.A.). With Daniels’ signature dark humor and poignancy, READY FOR THE HA HA explores the magic of acting, the invisibility of aging, and how lust lives on.
Traci Parks will present part of her new play HOME EQUITY, a darkly comic romp on class struggle and the fragility of now. In this section, Brooklyn psychotherapist Joan tries to hold on to her brownstone while her brokenhearted patient, Maura, processes her exile upstate and LeeAnn, who’s truly seen hard times, cleans Maura’s house.
