Kaleidoscope Eyes – A Legacy in Stained Glass

Thursday, July 17, 7pm

Hoboken Historical Museum

The Museum is honored to invite you to a screening of “Kaleidoscope Eyes – A Legacy in Stained Glass.” ✨

A fundraising project to help rehabilitate the synagogue on Park Avenue, which was originally constructed in 1915, evolved into a multi-decade art project entwining artisanship, Hoboken history, community and their combined legacy.

Thanks to the artistic vision of one woman, and a small legion of volunteers, a committed group of community members came together to learn the craftsmanship needed to create stained glass windows. Through this process, they contributed elements from their own stories to the installation.

The documentary “Kaleidoscope Eyes – A Legacy in Stained Glass” captures the essence of a vibrant Hoboken community and how one person has inspired a creation of vivid beauty that will last for generations to come.

There will be a Q & A following the screening with:
🎨 Susie Cohen Klein – Stained Glass Artist
🫶 Marty Cohen – Susie’s Spouse
🎥 Rob Harari – Producer, Co-Director, Composer
🎥 Harry Kafka – Co-Director, Editor
