Every year, Jersey City and the Office of Cultural Affairs presents Summer in the City, a free recurring concert series which brings live music and film to each corner of Jersey City.
There is no better way to unwind on a summer day than to the tunes of fantastic local musicians. We strive to share our community’s talents with the neighborhoods that knit us together. Events are free, family-friendly and open to the public, so Jersey City residents of every age can enjoy entertainment in every corner of the city.

Summerfest
Join us on Sunday and Tuesday evenings for Jersey City’s longest-running concert series, held at the beautiful and iconic Liberty State Park.
Berry Lane Music Fest
Join us on Thursday evenings throughout July and August for these concerts at Berry Lane Park from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm.
Movies in the Park
Join us for Movies in the Park throughout the summer. Movies start at sunset (8:30 pm).
