Due. the anticipated Rain on Saturday….Hoboken Italian Festival Feast, La Madonna dei Martiri procession has been moved to the rain date of Sunday, 11:00am mass and Madonna 2:00pm time
The Hoboken Italian Festival is a four day festival of music food and fun from Thursday through Sunday. No day is greater however than Saturday, our “Feast” day, when the 800lb statue of Madonna Dei Martiri or Madonna of the Martyrs is carried through the streets of Hoboken from St. Francis Church, 308 Jefferson St.
This includes a reenactment of the Blessing of the Fleet in the Hudson River, culminating with a fireworks show over Sinatra Park. The Madonna is sailed around the Hudson before it returns to the church.
FESTIVAL HOURS
- Thursday, September 5th 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- Friday, September 6th 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
- Saturday, September 7th 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
- Sunday, September 8th 12:00 p.m to 10:00 p.m.
September 8th, from 12:00 to 4:00 PM, The Hoboken Italian Festival will have its first ever car show presented by Italian Cars ‘n Cannoli Car Club. The cars will be lined up on Sinatra Drive between 3rd and 4th street. Please join us for this event and help us welcome for the first time, the Italian Cars ‘n Cannoli Car Club.
