The Hoboken House Tour is back! On Sunday, October 27th the tour returns with up to 10 homes graciously opened to visitors by Museum supporters and staffed by volunteers to help us raise funds for the many events and programs the Hoboken Historical Museum organizes annually. We are reaching out to find volunteers!
The self-guided tour offers a selection of traditional and contemporary homes and condos furnished in a wide range of styles. Volunteers earn a free ticket to go see the other homes on the shift they’re not working. Homes are open from 10 am – 4 pm.
Volunteers are stationed for shifts of three-and-a-half-hours (9:30 am – 1 pm, or 12:30 – 4 pm) at strategic points throughout the homes to help manage visitor flow and keep an eye on things for the homeowners. One volunteer at the front door checks that all visitors are carrying the tour booklet, which includes the history and design details on each home.
This is our first in-person House Tour since 2019. Thank you for helping the museum revive this special tradition!
Please note that locations will be assigned the week of the tour. For any questions, please reach out to Tara Chand at [email protected].
