Aussie Pie and Sausage Roll Tasting

Boomerang Bites, the women-owned artisanal bakery known for its bite-sized Aussie ‘slice’ recipes, is excited to announce a delicious new collaboration with G’Day Gourmet, creators of traditional Australian meat pies and sausage rolls. Beginning Thursday, October 10th, G’Day Gourmet’s signature pies and sausage rolls will be available at Boomerang Bites’ Hoboken bakery, where customers can enjoy these authentic treats fresh in the cafe or frozen to take home and bake.
The official launch event will take place on Thursday, October 10th, from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the Hoboken bakery, with free samples of G’Day Gourmet’s pies and sausage rolls for all guests until supplies last. Visitors can taste a variety of savory offerings, including:
Beef, Bacon & Cheddar: Made with organic Australian ground beef, smoked bacon, and mild cheddar cheese, slowly cooked in seasoned gravy and baked in buttery signature pie crust.
The Jordan Mailata (Butter Chicken): Roasted chicken in a creamy, mildly spicy curry sauce baked in a buttery signature pie crust.
Lamb & Rosemary Pie: Organic lamb, carrots, celery, shallots, and rosemary, slow-cooked in red wine gravy and baked in a buttery signature pie crust.
Australian Sausage Rolls: Savory pork sausage, diced onions, mashed garlic, and special seasonings, wrapped in a flaky, buttery puffed pastry.
G’Day Gourmet’s pies and sausage rolls are the perfect complement to Boomerang Bites’ mission of sharing authentic Aussie flavors with the community. Boomerang Bites has long celebrated the Australian tradition of “slices,” and now, with this exciting partnership, they’re expanding their menu to include more of Australia’s beloved comfort foods.
