Bedsit Poets made their long-awaited return after over a decade with their third album, All Roads Lead Me Back, on Think Like A Key Records. The album has garnered rave reviews and excellent airplay both in the U.S. and U.K. including SiriusXM, WFMU, WFUV, BBC Radio London, among others. The songwriting partnership of Amanda Thorpe and Edward Rogers has crafted a memorable album that retains the signature “heartaches and harmonies” that MOJO magazine aptly described. Infused with elements of electronica and lounge vibes, it blends seamlessly with English folk and the late seventies NYC scene, proving that the past can be reinvigorated with a fresh twist. After their recent record-release show in New York City, Amanda returns from London for Bedsit Poets to do one special show in New Jersey at the 503 Social Club. Joining Amanda and Edward will be Don Piper and James Mastro.
Psych-O-Positive is a self described “psychedelic cave punk band” based out of Hoboken, NJ. USA.
“If you took all the great punk bands of the 80’s (like Gut Bank and Sexpod) and threw them in a blender with the best Riot Grrrl and Antifolk bands of the 90’s (like The Aquanettas, The Sprinkle Genies, and tranceSenders) and you let that blender spin for the aughts to late teens and then at the dawn of 2020, you took the blender and threw it full force into a brick wall, the sound of the glass shattering and the slow spill down the wall would sound just like Psych-O-Positive.”
